     การทำลำดับสายสกุล เพื่อช่วยให้คนรุ่นต่อๆไปสามารถมีแหล่งค้นหาและรู้จักกับบรรพชนของพวกเขา   Family Tree เป็นเว็บไซต์ที่ช่วยในการทำบันทึกลำดับสายของครอบครัว ซึ่งเปิดให้ทุกคนทั่วโลกทั้งที่เป็นและไม่เป็นสมาชิกของ LDS ได้กรอกสายของครอบครัวตนเอง และคนอื่นๆสามารถมีส่วนร่วมในการกรอกข้อมูลของครอบครัวหากพวกเขาทราบ หรือสามารถแก้ไขได้หากข้อมูลที่มีอยู่ผิดโดยลงเหตุผลที่แก้ไขไว้ ข้อมูลที่ถูกแก้ไขจะไม่ถูกลบออกจากระบบและยังสามารถนำย้อนกลับมาดังเดิมได้
