Usage
This template {{WikiProject Idaho}} adds articles to Category:WikiProject Idaho articles and is a self-reference. Please add to relevant articles' talk pages.
This template should be transcluded as {{WikiProject Idaho}} and not substituted {{subst:}} because it employs conditional code. Transclusion also allows easy updating of all the Project's talk pages without having to edit thousands of pages.
The template also employs several optional data field parameters as described below. For an example of how the template will appear if all parameters are active, please see Template:WikiProject Idaho/Example.

Parameters legend
- class: Options are FA, A, GA, B, Start, Stub, FL, List, Category, Disambig, Template, and NA. If blank (#default), this will default as unassessed and list the article at Category:Unassessed Idaho articles. NA is "not applicable". Descriptions of some of the options can be found at WikiProject Idaho/Quality scale.
- importance: Top, High, Mid, Low, NA. If blank, this will default as unknown importance. Only Top will have a visible effect on the template - the other options will just assign the correct category. Descriptions of the options can be found at WikiProject Idaho/Importance scale.
- attention: Answer yes if the page needs immediate attention. Leave blank or delete if not.
- imageneeded: Answer yes to request a photograph, image, or map of the subject be added to the article. Leave blank or delete if not.
- in: Used in conjunction with the imageneeded parameter to place the image request into a specific Idaho county. Leave blank or delete if not. For example,
"in=Boise County, Idaho"will place the article talk page into Category:FamilySearch Wiki requested photographs in Boise County, Idaho. - Additional in2 and in3 parameters used in conjunction with the imageneeded parameter may be used to specify up to three total location categories (such as for celebrities and other people who may frequent multiple county locations).
- imagedetails: This free-form parameter can be used in conjunction with the imageneeded parameter to add specific details about the images being requested. For example,
"imagedetails=Please add a live-action shot to this sports article"will add the following: "An editor suggests the following: Please add a live-action shot to this sports article." - small: Answer yes if the template needs to be smaller and lined up vertically on the side of the talk page.
