Talk:Latin Genealogical Word ListEdit This Page

Someone needs to edit glossary under "D"
There is a formatting problem that I am not able to fix. The first column of Latin words under the "D" section of the Latin-to-English glossary is mis-aligned, beginning with the word "domina" which is aligned with "monastery" (but which actually means "lady"). If you look at the end, the error continues through to the end of the D section columns, with the right column being longer than the left. I think the problem is that the word "monastery" should not be there at all. (Monastery is "coenobium", according to Google Translate).
Page format should be revised?
I just added a word in the middle of the letter V section, and that isn't a very long list, but it is difficult because of the formatting of the page in tables of only two columns and no rows. It's much easier to edit the German word list because the tables are broken into rows, one for each word. What do people think about switching this list to add rows? I converted the German list some time ago and it's easy to edit. Anyway, if there is interest, let me know. I have a high power text editor that can assist by breaking up the wiki text and reassembling it. MatthiaKA 23:11, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
