Why?
There are many reasons why a genealogical project would work with post-1900 records. Many descendants of Swedish American families would like to go to Sweden and locate living relatives. Others might be curious as to what happened to their distant cousins and relatives who stayed behind. Another reason might be to share a family tree which has been compiled.
It is much simpler to complete post-1900 research in Sweden than one would imagine. Privacy laws in Sweden allow for more accessibility of records.
This page will explore the different avenues to locating one's family in the 1900's which are unique to Sweden.
