Upcoming Events

  • Open House "What You Can Do with Your Geneology Information" -- Workshops, Displays, Luncheons, Speakers -- Date and Time to be announced.

Class Schedule

  • Geneology - Starting from Scratch  - two classes each lasting 5 weeks
  1. Beginning Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am
  2. Beginning Tuesday, February 28, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm

Enrollment is limited.  Call Ruby 907-283-2728 to reserve space 

Staff Training Meetings

  • Inservice and Staff Meeting May 19, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Relief Society Room at the Soldotna Stake Center
  • Inservice and Staff Meeting August 18, 2012 at 10:00 am in the Relief Society Room at the Soldotna Stake Center
  • Guest Speaker and Dinner,  October 20, 2012  from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

  • Wide collection of microfilm by state and country; Scottish records formatted on discs with information that is unavailable on the internet

Databases and Software

  • FHC Portal: This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
  • New England Ancestors Site - This incredible collection offers us key resources to gather clues about our ancestors in early and coonial New England, covering Maine, New Hamshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rode Island, Connecticut, and other regions.
