Record Description
This collection consists records of births, baptisms, marriages, deaths, and burials performed by priests in Bessarabia, which is known primarily as modern day Moldova. These records were acquired from the Moldova State Archive in Chişinău and are written in Russian and Moldovan (virtually the same as Romanian.

To search the collection you will need to follow this series of links:
⇒ Select the "Browse" link in the initial search page
⇒ Select the " Province (Губерния)" category
⇒ Select the " District (Уезд)" category
⇒ Select the " Place/Parish (Место/Церковь)" category
⇒ Select the "Year/Vol/Event (Даты/Tом/Cобытия)" category which takes you to the images.
Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
