Chapelry History
St Catherine Liverpool, was created a "subscription" chapel and was completed by January 1831. [It was] "situated on the east side Abercromby square. The edifice was built in a classical style consisting of a chancel, nave, aisles and turret, bell and seat for 1200 persons. An unusual feature of the the church is handsome dome." Liverpool St Catherine's Chapelry (parish) registers are held at the Liverpool Record Office. These registers have also been microfilmed by FamilySearch and they are available through its 4600 FamilySearch Centers worldwide.
