Known Issues

Question #1 There appear to be missing records from Jackson County and Taylor County. Are they available?
Answer #1: Film 1255476 which contains some of the marriage records for Jackson County for the years 1847-1931 and film 1035143 which contains some of the Marriage records for Taylor County for the years 1851-1928 and some indexes for 1857-1913 were not indexed and therefore the records recorded on those two films are not a part of this collection. If you cannot find a record from these years for these two counties you can order the films and view them at your local FamilySearch Center. See Ordering Microfilm.

Question #2: I am trying to find the place of birth for my ancestor which should appear on the marriage license. Can this be found somewhere in this collection?
Answer #2: This item is not found on the record details page, but in some cases was indexed. You can find the location if it is available, on the search results page when doing a search for your ancestor. You can also check the catalog to find the film that is listed on the record details page. It can then be ordered in to a local FamilySearch Center for viewing. See instructions in #1 above.
