Welcome to our page! Our consultants are excited to help you with your research. Whether you are looking for local histories or your research takes you to foreign shores we can assist you in your adventures. Don't let a brick wall stump you........and don't be afraid to start if you are a beginner. We aren't experts but have many years of experience we would love to share to help you with your genealogy.

Tuesday CLOSED (awaiting a volunteer)
Wednesday 9:00 am - Noon and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am - Noon
Available at other times by advance appointment
Holiday Schedule:
■Closed Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend
■Closed July 4
■Closed the first Saturday in April and October
■Closed the week of Thanksgiving
■Closed the last two weeks of December
■Other sporadic closings through the year. (our consultants travel quite a distance to the center so weather and farming emergencies impact our hours)

Center Resources
Collections
- Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.
- Films and fiche on long-term loan from the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, including several Indian rolls.
- Local census including the 1930 census microfilm for Owyhee and Elmore counties
- Books on local history ("Valley of the Tall Grass")
- Books on Early Pioneer history ( Women of Faith and Fortitude, Handcarts in Zion, etc)
- Pedigree Resource Files volumes 1-134
- Books and software for beginner
- FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. Hardware and Equipment
- computers, microfilm readers, printers, flat bed scanner and capability to print from microfilm, etc. )
- Come in and preserve your audio history or put your family history into a slide show. We can show you how to do either or both.

Staff Research Specialties
Our consultants are experienced in a variety of research. Western United States, Midwest, East coast (Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, New England), England, Wales, Germany, Denmark, Poland, Canada, and Aboriginal groups. (Chippewa) We have a german speaking consultant available by appointment.

Volunteer at the Center
We are currently seeking volunteers who can speak and read in both English and Spanish. Also looking for volunteers to work with local indian history.
