Q.  Should I fill in the gender for Mrs Smith if it is not recorded?  A.  Yes, if the gender isn't specifically recorded, you can determine gender based on contextual information such as titles and terms. In this case, the title "Mrs" indicates the gender is female.

Q. 2) Some partial manifests have no ship name or date. Should I enter the passengers?  A. Yes, waypointing will resolve the problem.
