Vda - Vda indicates a widow. It is the same as any other title or term and would only be indexed if there was a title and term field.

Washington DC - Record Washington in the city field and District of Columbia in the state field.

Rank - In military type projects ranks are indexed in the Titles and Term fields, if available. (Feb 9)

Foster Parents - Index foster parents if the biological or adoptive parents are not recorded. (12/21)

Birth Records -  if there are two dates - index the earliest date. (1/3)
