• Abbott Butte, 42°56′36″N 122°32′59″W / 42.9434571°N 122.5497635°W / 42.9434571; -122.5497635 (Abbott Butte), straddling Douglas and Jackson counties, Quotation from a letter by Captain O. C. Applegate, of Klamath Falls, indicates the origin of this name: "In very early times Hiram Abbott, usually known as Hi Abbott, was I believe, a resident of Big Butte Creek, or of that vicinity, and had some employment, as a sub-agent, perhaps, with the Rogue River Indians. He neve was in any way connected with the Indian service on the Klamath reservation. I am of the impression that Abbott Butte on the Umpqua divide was named for him." The spelling Abbot is wrong.
• Abes Mountain, 43°08′01″N 122°48′08″W / 43.1337310°N 122.8022736°W / 43.1337310; -122.8022736 (Abes Mountain), named for Abraham Wilson, an early resident of the area and a packer forthe USFS during the 1920s. Five miles southeast of Red Butte.
• Ace Williams Mountain, 43°16′47″N 123°01′50″W / 43.2798403°N 123.0306168°W / 43.2798403; -123.0306168 (Ace Williams Mountain), prominent nose above the north bank of Little River three miles southeast of Glide, named for Asa Williams who settled near its base about 1854. The spelling of the first name has been corrupted for many years.
• Acker Rock, 43°03′08″N 122°38′44″W / 43.0523438°N 122.6456012°W / 43.0523438; -122.6456012 (Acker Rock), the point south of South Umpqua River near the headwaters, named for Hiram E. Acker, originally from Texas, who settled at nearby Tallow Butte in 1913.
• Swan Hill, 43°07′34″N 123°29′06″W / 43.1262267°N 123.4850756°W / 43.1262267; -123.4850756 (Swan Hill), northwest of Dillard, and has an elevation of about 1600 feet. It was named for David Alexander, an early settler, who lived near its foot. Name change decision was made in 1987 from Alexander Butte.
