Center Contacts and Hours
The Choteau, Montana Family History Center serves the surrounding communities of Fairfield, Bynum, Augusta and Dutton. We have four computers, microfilm readers, microfiche readers, history books of the surrounding communities and many other resources.

Center Resources
The Choteau, Montana Family History Center serves the surrounding communities of Fairfield, Bynum, Augusta and Dutton. We have four computers, microfilm readers, microfiche readers, history books of the surrounding communities and many other resources.
Collections
- Family History Library Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the Family History Library Catalog.
- Local History Books from the surrounding communities of Bynum, Teton County, Simms, Fort Shaw, Greenfield, Fairfield, and many more.
Databases and Software
- FHC Portal
- Genealogy database software (Ancestral Quest, Family Insight, Family Tree Maker, PAF, RootsMagic)
- Charting software (PAF Companion)
- Word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software such as OpenOffice (on selected machines)
- Pedigree Resource File (complete on server)
- Free access to several subscription sites through the FamilySearch Portal such as Ancestry.com, British Newspapers, Find-My-Past (UK), Footnote, Genline (Swedish), Heritage Quest, World Vital Records and others.
- Research databases such as Acadian-Cajun Family Trees, Austrailian Vital Records and Mormon Immigration Index.
