Parish History

'BROXHOLME (All Saints), a parish, in the wapentake of Lawress, parts of Lindsey, union and county of Lincoln, 6¾ miles (N. W.) from Lincoln; containing 145 inhabitants."

Broxholme (sometimes Brox-Holme) All Saints is an Ancient Parish in the hamlet of Broxholme 8 miles north west of Lincoln.

The church of All Saints is now privately owned following redundany in March 1990 and sale in 1992.

It was built in 1857 as a replacement for the earlier church on the site.  [1]

  • The Genealogist.co.uk ($) has all available censuses and is free at Family History Centers and the Family History Library and various other libraries.
  • FreeCen is a UK census searches. It is not complete and individuals are always asked to consider helping out with transcriptions.
