HistoryThe County of Blekinge was created in 1683. It is the smallest County by geographical area in Sweden. The boundaries are identical to the Landskap (Blekinge Province) that pre-dates the County. Before 1997 the County boardered with Kronoberg, Kalmar and Kristianstad Counties. The county letter for Blekinge is: K Tools
