Chapelry History

Belmont St Peter's Chapelry was created by the year 1850 from Bolton, Little [All Saints] and in which both were created to serve parts of the large ancient of parish boundary of Bolton le Moors St Peter, Lancashire.

Other places in the parish include: Eagley Bank, Little Bolton Lower End, Little Bolton Higher End, and Horrocks Fold.
