Parish History

BARTON-BENDISH, a parish, in the union of Downham, hundred of Clackclose, W. division of Norfolk, 4 miles (N. by E.) from Stoke-Ferry. There is a place of worship for Wesleyans. ^[1]

Barton Bendish St Andrew is an Ancient parish in the Diocese of Norwich.

Originally a Norman church with 14th century rebuilding.
