Two major historical periodicals that have included items of genealogical interest. Caribbeana includes results of numerous searches by professional genealogists in English records for material concerning seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Barbadians:
- The Journal of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society. FHL Book 972.981 B2j.
The Library of the Barbados Museum and Historical Society has compiled a name index to this journal.
