Parish History

This ancient parish (AP) was created before 1813. Church of England records began in 1538.

ATWICK (St. Lawrence), a parish, in the union of Skirlaugh, N. division of the wapentake of Holderness, East Riding,Yorkshire. The parish includes also the hamlets of Arran,Little Atwick, Arram and Skirlington. There are places of worship for Primitive Methodist and Wesleyans.^{[1]  [2] [3]}
