Parish History

Amber Hill was created a civil parish in 1880 (although rated in Boston Poor Law Union since 1862). It was created from Algarkirk, Sutterton, and Dogdyke Ancient Parishes. Amberhill, par., SE. Lincolnshire, Boston registration dist., 4 miles N. of Swineshead. 1887,^[1]
