Brief History

This Unit was organized at Anderson and Indianapolis, Indiana, November 2 to December 13, 1861.  It was at Shreveport, Louisiana, and duty there till October. They mustered out October 23, 1865, and discharged at Indianapolis, Indiana, November 2, 1865.[1]
