Probate records of Øvre Telemark, 1753-1817 deaneries in Telemark county, Norway. Includes date of probates, name of the deceased, names of heirs, guardians and trustees, land and holdings, and miscellaneous information.

Øvre Telemark deanery includes the following clerical districts:

  • Rauland
  • Vinje
  • Mo
  • Fyrisdal
  • Nissedal
  • Kviteseid
  • Seljord
  • Lårdal
  • Tørdal parish

Hjartdal and Gransherad clerical districts became part of Øvre Telemark in 1757. They belonged to Nedre Telemark prior to 1757.
