The Family History Library has not acquired copies of Wyoming newspapers. The library has copies of a few publications that contain abstracts
of vital information printed in newspapers. Genealogical and historical periodicals also publish some obituaries
and other extracts from early newspapers.
The Wyoming State Archives, the Wyoming State Library, and other major libraries in Wyoming have helpful collections of newspapers. The following guides can help you locate Wyoming newspapers:

PROBATE
Before statehood, probate records
were kept by the territorial probate court. After 1890, these records were transferred to the clerk of the district court in each county where copies can be obtained by contacting the clerk. The Family History Library has very few copies of Wyoming probate records.
