This lesson shows how to receive (import) and send (export) your information. You can share information with:

Family, friends, or other researchers Ancestral File or Pedigree Resource File TempleReady To import or export information, Personal Ancestral File uses a computer format called GEDCOM (GEnealogical Data COMmunication). Most other genealogy programs use GEDCOM. Importing and exporting a GEDCOM file is usually the best way to receive or send your genealogical information.
