On the View My GEDCOM Files screen, you can see a list of all the GEDCOM files you have submitted to be included in the Pedigree Resource File on CD or on the FamilySearch Internet web site. Below are some additional helps.

When Should I Use View My GEDCOM Files?

Use View My GEDCOM Files to see a list of all the files you have submitted to be preserved in the Pedigree Resource File.

How Do I Use View My GEDCOM Files?

To use View My GEDCOM Files read the numbered list of files. The list will include the name of the file, the date it was received, and a description of its contents.  If you have not submitted any files, you will see this message: "You currently do not have any GEDCOM files submitted."

What Is the Pedigree Resource File?

The Pedigree Resource File is a lineage-linked database of records submitted by individuals through the FamilySearch Internet Genealogy Service. To respect privacy, information about living people is not displayed online. There are two versions:

Details about Each Part of the Screen

Options: The panel on the left side of the screen contains a list of options. When you click an option, the information will be displayed on the right. Click:

Sections: The Share tab has two sections that provide information about FamilySearch Internet Genealogy Service. To see this information, click:
