Records and other works about the genealogies, titles, and histories of the noble class (including kings, dukes, duchesses, earls, etc.).

Visitations, Heraldic
Records, pedigrees, and other information used to determine the rights of people to bear coats of arms. The information was usually gathered by a government official called a herald.
