Can I Obtain Items Described in the Family History Library Catalog Elsewhere?
Many of the books, periodicals, microfilms, microfiche, and other materials described in the Family History Library Catalog are available from other places.
For example, the items may be available for research at the archive that owns the original record. A library may have a copy of a book that can be sent to you through an interlibrary loan service. Or, you may be able to purchase some books from the publishers or from bookstores.
